YOUTH AT THE BLUES COMPETITION
This year, it's the first Beaumont Blues and Roots Festival Youth at the Blues competition.
30 bands, of all genres, will be selected from all entries to participate in the Youth at the Blues preliminary competition nights at Expressionz Café (9938 70th Avenue, Edmonton,) on April 20, May 11 and the final one on May 18. Four of the top bands (decided by judges from the Beaumont Blues and Roots Festival Committee) will be selected to compete
for the Grand Prize on the night of June 21st, 2013 at the Beaumont Blues and Roots Festival. Four runners up will be selected to play at the Youth at the Blues night to introduce the evening. More info here:

CANADIAN COUNTRY MUSIC WEEK
AXE Productions has been tapped by the Canadian Country Music Association to provide a vast scope of production services in support of Country Music Week September 5 - 8. AXE will be handling production duties at such events as the CCMA Songwriter's Cafe, CCMA New Artist Showcase, CCMA Fasnfest, CCMA Gala Dinner and Awards and many more.
